NBC Nightly News recently did a segment on the funding crisis arts organizations across the country are facing. I can only imagine that this is situation is further exacerbated for arts organizations that give voice to minority communities. As a strong believer in the role of the arts and particularly South Asian arts organizations, I would encourage all of you to continue to support these institutions to the extent you are able.
Are any of you involved with South Asian arts organizations? How has your funding changed over the past 12 months? What are some of your strategies for coping with the economic downturn?
