South Asian book pick – CauseWired

CNN financial reporter (and fellow South Asian) Ali Velshi recommends CauseWired: Plugging In, Getting Involved, Changing the World by Tom Watson. This book has been on my personal list for awhile, but I just haven’t gotten to it – have any of you read it yet?
Ali says: “Watson examines how social networks have had a major impact on causes, and exhorts all of us to be more involved at a time when our contributions—not just of money—but of time and knowledge, are so valuable.”
Sounds a lot like SAPP’s mission! We hope to eventually do a book club here on the SAPP blog – and given the discussion here around Philanthrocapitalism, I think I know where we’ll start…
