MyCharityConnects Conference Part II
June 8, 2009
Happily ensconced in the hotel bar, I’m celebrating my successful workshop on blogging for nonprofits with a martini. The crowd was really great and we talked a lot about the South Asian Philanthropy Project as a case study (shout out to Dave!).
I hope I was able to inspire a few Canadian charities to start up blogs of their own as a resource and outreach tool. I also met a lot of cool peeps who I look forward to staying in touch with after next month’s move up north.

Loved your session this afternoon – Thank you!
Thanks, Julie!
Your session at MARS was terrific – it certainly inspired me to start (thinking about) blogging. Thank you.
Hi Archana – your session was great! Thanks for breaking the concept down into manageable bites for those of us who are newbies (or should that be “oldies”) trying to wrap our heads around this innovative form of communication. I’m meeting with our youth team today to talk about the official launch of our new children & youth blog on Thursday June 18th at our AGM! When you have time, would love your feedback of the site – harbourfrontcc.blogger.com. It will be “live” by 9m that evening!
