A quick follow-up on my post from last month about raising generous kids – this article from the NY Times describes the uptick in classes on philanthropy and the popularity of new initiatives about giving aimed at kids.  For example, AOL’s partnership with the Philanthropy Project or Campus Compact and their Students4Giving classes.

Pennies for Peace is a great philantropy program any school kids can organize. For more info on the program, as started by Greg Mortenson (of Three Cups of Tea) and on our local efforts, visit http://www.desperatemothers.wordpress.com.
