Under-30′s taking the lead on philanthropy in India
March 21, 2012
You may have seen Priyanka’s post on our Facebook page about this LiveMint article about how “under-30s” are taking the “centre stage in Indian philanthropy.” The new Bain & Co. report on Indian philanthropy is now available. (You may recall that we covered last year’s report several times.)
This year’s Bain report notes that young people in high net worth families have the most responsibility over philanthropic decision-making. Their concerns about NGO accountability remain, but things seem to be improving, with more giving than last year and seemingly more sophistication about philanthropy and innovation.
