Thanks, College Crunch!

November 13, 2010

South Asian Philanthropy Project is featured on CollegeCrunch.org as one of the top 25 blogs for philanthropic students.  I love their explanation of why philanthropy is relevant for college students – and for all you young readers out there:

Philanthropy, broadly, merely refers to the work done to make the world a better place. Period. Whether that’s done through major cash donations or small contributions, through national organizations or solo acts of kindness, is irrelevant; it’s all about the giving.

And I love their explanation of why SAPP is a good resource – hits the nail on the head:

The SAPP isn’t about doing philanthropic work in South Asia, but in getting South Asian Americans more involved in charities everywhere. A great resource for news and resources, no matter where you’re from.

Thanks, College Crunch!
